I will also note (with some pride) that the US Senate did not ratify the Versailles Treaty. Many others felt it laid the seeds for a second War....

As it did.   For those who like to point fingers about our present situation in the mid-east and elsewhere....point no further the the French and the Brits...it is all because of their "empires"

The French and the British did assemble the pieces...but to truly understand we must go beyond mere Empires, and look to Peoples...

...but today, in this thread....let's not. Suffice for now to recognize the dedication and sacrifice of all veterans, in the service of their country.
