Why do we still get TIC00's EE ads in local EE? He has moved to Hawaii! Cuss and discuss |
Because his account is listed as in WA. The state search is based on the posters location. Why he has himself as being in Washington, but posts that his business in in Hawaii (IIRC) is besides me. |
Because it is a WA issue. Mod really knows how to make a lurker feel welcome  Upon further research it seems that TIC00's old ads, posted when he was here, still show with his old info. BTW Odt, I'm the one asking questions here. I only gave authorization for discussion (or cussi(o)n'). |
Did business with him myself and agree with ya on that. Just thinking it is unnecessary clutter in the WA EE. At least we aren't getting all of his ads. |
 Okay, No more questions then, just cussing and discussing as requested. My job is to moderate, and help when I'm able, not hold hands. You asked about a forum issue, and I'm somewhat responsible to answer those types of things. But sometimes I tell the truth too. The truth here IMO, is that if you are actively seeking a solution to the dilemma about who posts in the EE, you should take it up with someone who has the power to change it. Maybe try sending some sort of message to the poster, or to the board crew. (The EE has it's own staff and moderators available to you, just for this very sort of thing) Asking the general membership about this issue likely wont get you much more than rhetorical answers. That's cool if that's what you're looking for, but my rhetorical question is still my suggestion.... if you were trying to fix something. |

It's easy. Just find faults with anything or anyone you can, and post about it in a desperate tone. Nevermind the sincere efforts of others. Skip all due processes or any support available to you, and then be defensive along the way, so you can avoid ever really making any differences in a positive direction. Nothing to it.
