This place is pretty cool, (minus the no guns part) the 23% beer isnt bad either!  So how is everyone? I miss anything good? |

Gruss Gott  When I was there I never saw any gun shops. My host family took me to the shooting club. All privately owned guns had to be kept locked up at the club. Another family let me borrow an Anschutz while I was over there so I could continue practicing. |

| I don't think its 23% over there, but it is stronger than here, and comes in 1 liter bottles, so every 1 German beer you have is the same as 3 American beers. And yes, the whole country is perpetualy shit faced, McDonalds sells beer and having beer with lunch is normal. They also have more national holidays there than here, so more time off for beer drinking. Don't get me started on the beer halls and fest tents either......................Man I miss Germany! |
The Germans had me walking up to woman at the bar and introducing myself then saying "Ich bin geil" Did I ever mention that German chicks are easy?

The beer I drank over there was about 7-8%, I think American beer is between 3-5%. I did buy a liter can of some of the nastiest shit I have ever tasted, called Foxee or something like that. It was 11% |
You do know that beer content is usually by volume in Europe and weight in the U.S., right? There are some differences in some beers, of course, but one example of the difference: Paulaner Hefe-weizen = 5.5% Redhook Hefe-weizen = 5.2% both alcohol content by volume. |

I plead the FIF!!! On watch again, yes the whole country is pretty much drunk all the time, needless to say we fit right in There is beer here that is 23 proof, good stuff a bit thick for my tastes however. We essentially drank the hooters here dry last weekend, I was so completely hammered I was still hung over by the time I started drinking the next night. Good times. All that drinking and I've still lost a few inches off the waistline You all should be proud to know our det owns the drinking record at that hooters too, 6 people, 240 shots, 2 hours.

Funny how a few of us locals went to a bar near by on day oh a few months back and they told us that we could not order drinks back to back and i had only ordered the first round for the group and the bitch was already cutting us off without having even consumed anything yet! Shoot I cant remember, I believe it was tequila, I'll ask them tommorrow and next time I update I'll let you know. Yeah, they dont cut us squids off, I spent a bit more euro that night on drinks than I meant to
