It's a sweeter sauce....We like it though...so no vinegar. recipe: 1 CUP KETCHUP 3/4 CUP POWDERED SUGAR 1 TABLESPOON WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE 1/4 TEASPOON TABASCO SAUCE 1/2 CUP MOLASSES 1/4 TEASPOON GARLIC SALT 1/2 TEASPOON LIQUID SMOKE MIX ALL INGREDIENTS IN A SAUCEPAN. COOK AND STIR OVER MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL BOILING. KEEP WARM ON LOW HEAT UNTIL READY TO SERVE. POUR OVER GRILLED MEAT OR POULTRY. |

Sounds like we need to start having BBQ competitions at the LCRs. I am sure we would have no shortage of judges. I have one of these for my old charcoal smoker that I havent even used yet, Afterburner. That smoker just sits ever since I got my Weber Smokey Mountain and discovered the Minion Method of lighting the coals for overnight cooks without me getting up all the time to check it. |
