What can I say? I'm not a big fan of fanfare. Ask my old Senior Chief about how I got my Good Conduct Medal awarded to me. He found out a year after the fact that I went down to Admin and had them make a record entry that I received it. Then I went to the Exchange and bought the damn thing to wear. No "shake, take & salute" for me. ETA: If / when post #10,000 comes about, I'll probably skim right over it with a +1 or some gay joke involving 1GR / TRG, and not take a break. |
