My Danger Ranger, the pink one R-32 sold me, gets around just fine with 2WD. I've seen 4WD get stuck in places my that my DR drives right through. (Strat's pasture) Granted, I'm not out busting two foot deep snow trails with it, but if there is already a road there, I think I can follow it. So, why in the Hell would I want a truck that could take me to someplace where I could end up getting buttfucked by a bull elk? |
What? you don't like Bull Elk?
|
No kidding, Should'nt knock it till you try it. |

It's all in how you use it. Some people prefer to recreate by travelling trails that are simply inaccessible by 2WD vehicles. Others use 4WD as a safety or emergency preparedness feature. Your 2WD DR WILL get you to where a bull elk could BF you, but you may have more difficulty escaping the BFing from an elk than someone in a 4WD. I was taught by an old cowboy that 2WD is for getting in as far as you can and 4WD was for getting back out. You probably do not really need any more than a single shot rifle, either. So why the AR15? |
even when im out 4wheeling i dont need to use the front axle much. 90% of everything is driver, and if you know what your doing or just have a blatant disreguard for you equipment then you can do ALOT in 2wd![]() But then again thats how my pickup got so beat up, sometimes even knowing what your doing looks like blatant disreguard for your equipment... |
I could lend my awsome rattle can skills to the effort. My 82 F150 had cammo flames on it. It was prety freakin sweet. They were exactly like the old school hot rodder flames only in OD green Flat Dark Earth and Sand. It was sweet... |
