I just stopped by the gas station on my way home from work. (Hillcrest on hwy 6 for you locals) While paying, the lady helping me was talking to the other attendant about their upcoming drawing for a autographed Randy Couture poster next week, so I asked her about it. (Same woman who's been there at least 2 years on weekdays now.) As we were talking, she asked if I knew who he was. I said sure, and explained how we all get together down here for all the UFC fights. Then she says, "He's my step-son".  We ended up BSing for a bit about him. Nice gal. I asked her to let him know we're all cheering him on, and to pass on the best of luck to him from us. She promised she would.  Shoulda known he was LCR, even if only by proxy  |
| Nice..... Not near the fighter Randy is, but I met Ed Herman down in Portland. We were down there at a stripclub for a friends bachelor party and I turn around and there he was. Talked to him a little, but he was fairly wasted. Thought I was going to get to see him fight, but he blew off a few idiots giving him a hard time. |
