An FFL friend of mine is trying to locate a specific Mauser K98 for one of his customers. But, he hasn't been able to find a distributor who advertises them. Code 237 Year 1939 Any help would be appreciated. Thx.  (back to nursing on the nyquil bottle 4 me.... anyone else?  )

Any luck at Mitchell's Mausers? BTW, IM Dave_A. He may know of resources to check. I saw this 1939 98k on gunbroker but it says no codes. I'm not sure what 237 is. Would that be in place of the letter code (example: my '42 is "DOU" or some such made at Waffen Werke, Brunn, Bystrica or something like that)? |
