| There is an area between Arlington and Darrington my g/f's little sister and her friends went to this past weekend. I was very sad to see the pictures showing that NO ONE obviously cleans up after themselves. I asked her if they did and she said "no way, no one else does, why should we" (great attitude)... |
Hummmm, blows they don't clean up... so where is this place, maybe on the 1st we could go to the range opening and also drive to this spot to check it out, what ya think? |

I'm down to go... I asked where it was and got "on the way from arlington to darrington (i assume this means sr-530 arlington-darrington road), then there is a spot where you pull off" and "there were tons of people out there" ... Really good, I know. I asked her to invite me the next time they go. I'll email her boyfriend to see if he'll give up directions. |
Well the email for some directions is sent. I also asked if they've ever had a problem with cops showing up. The kid owes me one as he got plasted drunk at my house a few weeks ago and puked in my spare bedroom... eta: that he DID clean up. |
 Good deal... on the 1st sounds like we'll get some fair amount of range time in, indoors and out!

It too have a full box of the mysterious white/gray chit. Hmmm I was actually thinking about heading down to LCR in a couple weeks to dispose of it. |

It will be a few more weeks ( most likely towards the end of March ). I was just up there last Saturday. I was asked to sit on the review board to assist in interviewing applicants for the position of RangeMaster. The RangeMaster job will belong to xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. if he accepts the position. Very nice gentleman and had the unanimous approval of the board of directors. Oops there is one other applicant we have to interview tomorrow who couldn't make it last Saturday. |

I hope you saw my IM to ya yesterday around 6AM... So are we going to go look at this pit today!?!?! So far its stopped snowing at my house... but there is about 4-6 inches of snow... I hear there might be more coming over the next 24 hours.... |

Sorry, Ramster... I meant to IM you last night, I was hoping the snow was going to break and go the fuck away, but it never did. According to the news it's supposed to be dry and sunny on Saturday. Lets give it a go then ... Maybe more can join on Saturday. Anyone? Anyone? |

I don't know anything much further north then Marysville, so someone else is going to have to make that call. I'm thinking 10ish Saturday morning? Maybe something in Arlington or just outside it? I have been IM'g C&7 about this location. If it's the 2 spots I am thinking of ( I am 99.9% sure they are ).... Both are alittle too close to the road for me personally. And if I recall correctly there are houses as close as 1/4 mile away. Those spots are far better suited to handgun shooting vs rifles. The firing lines are alittle too close to the road for me also. I haven't been up that way since last summer so maybe the area has changed alittle ?? |
IM me a copy of the directions, and I will get a nice Sat pic, and see if I can come up with real directions...I have a funny feeling I already know where this place is, and it is not all that. I wont be able to make anything on saturday cuz even though it is my vacation, I have volunteer'd to work some overtime in the morning. |
Sent... sounds like everyone already knows about it. I'm just looking for anything outdoor so I can get the AR out... I'm afraid it's going to turn itself on me if it doesn't get to eat some ammo soon! |

Ok, how about we meet at Patty's Egg Nest, the old Wellers(SP?) Its at the 5 exit to Arlington... Not that the weather folks ever get it right, but so far I'm hearing that the weather will clear up mid day, maybe we could meet at 11-12ish and eat then head to the spot... what does everyone think!?!?!? |
