ADCOM GI Joes > Washington

Found some ADCOM at GI JOES, going for 4.49 a box of 20, decent price? Went to sportsman warehouse, completely out of .223(Kenniwick).

Not too bad a price but I would be wary of the ADCOM we had a Kaboom on it at the last LCR. I think the headstamp was 99 but I am not sure.

if the headstamp is not the 99 stuff, I may try it, but to be honest, Im not in a big hurry.

Actually, I would call that obscene.

Even before the Ka-boom issues were known, ADCOM was going for $175-$187 per 1000 shipped.

After that, I'm not sure how low the prices dropped on that stuff on EE.

Give James a call if you really want some, I'm pretty sure he'd give you a really good price on it if he has any left.

Well they had the red box of American eagle for $4.99 a box, perhaps I will pass on the ADCOM.

It would be safer to drop a lit road flare in a barrel of gasoline than to shoot ADCOM.

I saw it in Kennewick, it was 99 headstamped. I would stay away, that stuff blew a bunch of primers out of the cases in my rifles. I'm probably lucky it didn't blow one up.

Had an average of one stoppage per mag with the 99 headstamp. Switched over to just using it in my AR Pistol and I quit having problems. Not enough barrel to blow out the primer with 6.5" set up. Glad it at least works in the pistol, since I bought a 1000 rounds of the stuff.

Good luck with that stuff. Chances are you'll make it through the batch without blowing up your pistol. Then again, I thought the same thing with my M4.

I wouldn't even give ADCOM ammo to someone I didn't like! It's like playing Russian Roulett with your gun. Sooner or later it's going to blowup. Take Tumbleweed's words to heart. I saw his gun after the KaBoom and it was ugly.
