 HAHAHAHAHAHA ... Seriously though... 1999 was a shitty year for me. I had to work at 8am on New Years day. I saw some band do a aweful version of Prince's song on MTV at midnight, then I went to bed. I'd rather NOT remember that. Delta, honestly. I'm going to try for Sam's around 2pm. I make no promises. i'm not even sure if they are open tomorrow. But I do need to get that new g23 out on the range to see how it works. It's always ify buying things person to person. |
i just like shooting......all these FNATICS on the WAHTF and they only shoot like twice a year.....bunch of panzies. if you like to shoot like me, then you like to shoot....no more talking shit and all that other BULLSHIT! oh, BTW, i spent the last 5 hours in the ER with my Son, he busted up his face on a snowboard.....pics to follow, if i feel like it. (been drinking) anyways, if someone is going shooting (ANYTIME) and they want company......you can ALWAYS (if i am in the country) contact me, i will go. i live in Yelm, BTW, so something relatively close. if you dont want to go shooting.....piss off! |
BAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I was BN SDNCO on the Millenium New Year, talk about the mother of all BOHICA's(bad call on saving leave that year).  I took it out on all the shithead E1/2's from my Company who were cought DWI that night, and smoked them until they cried, puked, or both.

I was acting 1SG, fuckin' asswipe took his mid-tour over BOTH Christmas AND New Years! He'd spent the previous q0 years or so as an EO NCO, so his cluelessness re:Leadership was understandable. So, while I was exempt from duty, I spent December 31, 1999 wandering the ville of Camp Stanley, ROK. Eventually just stayed on a stool in the CW bar upstairs from the pool parlor with all the Russian hookers. That's where most of the troops were, anyway. |
Hey DF, we're almost neighbors...in a 20-miles-north-of-you-in-Spanawania sorta way. If I can do something to piss off the old ball & chain, I'll be up for sumpin'. A friend has been noodling me to go to CapFor and do some blasting. She's not up yet, so it'll be a while before the fireworks begin.

I feel the exact same way. When I suggest something there seems to be a lot of people come out of the woodwork that want to mess up a fun day of shooting with semantics like time, place etc. I just shoot by myself for the most part. |
Couple of crybaby mo-fo's...  I shoot when I want, I just head to Strats, or up into the hills, I also have a 25M range in my backyard... I just figured out that my neighbor has a 50 yard indoor range, I found out by listening one night, and asking.  If you clowns lived a little closer you might get some more trigger time, Hell we are losing spots around here, but seem to still do ok. |
| in realy like to go shooting a bunch, but money is usually the limiting factor. I realy dont like feeding ranges money and what not. But i just dont know of that many spots is all. Oh well, ill probly end up at the capitol forest this afternoon with a buddy of mine. |

Many here make suggestions.... some materialize and some don't. I recall being a little let down after going to one of Oregons Practical Rifle matches, and then trying to drum up some interest here for something similar. No one seemed too keen on the idea IIRC. Myself, I'm thinking of bailing on the rifle silhouette game, and finding something a little faster paced in the handgun sports. Silhouette will still be there when I get older, and the pace may suit me better then. All the gun TV shows show faster handgun sports and competitions, or even the Sportmans Team Challenges look like a blast...... dunno how to get the ball rolling on it though, and I'm not the type to run or organize such a thing...  They still do NRA Bullseye here locally too, but I got bored with that years ago, and again, something faster paced sounds more interesting to me.In the meantime, I plink. Sometimes with centerfire, sometimes with rimfire, sometimes in the yard, sometimes at the range...... no real way to guage skill or improvement though, 'cept for some light hunting and pest control. Interested? Yes. Motivational? No.

I shoot just about every weekend. My only problem is that I don't know any out door areas here in the north end (South SnoHo). I've been feeding Wade's and Sam's more then I care to. I'm up for going and meeting people (I have no problem with shyness). Sometimes balancing girlfriend time effects my schedule as well... |
Wheres SVRC? I ot side tracked helpin a buddy fix his truck today so im not going to make it out probly. I do need to do some shooting soon though. I have this Armalite just sitting in my closet, where its been for more then a month, unfired...

I'm going coyote hunting tomrrow, but my steelheading partner doesn't know it yet. Some of my best years have started with me huting. This year was a bitch, so I think I need to start 2007 off right. No hangover & something dies. Best New Years Day was 24 pigeons before sun-up in the barn, a limit of ducks, and an elk. |
