Had a very strange encounter with a Bunny at the last gunshow. I was at the Oly table and looking around to buy a carbine. Greg talked me OUT of buying a gun.  He's spent a lot of time in the past talking me into buying guns, but this was the first time he's talked me out of it.  Had me convinced my next great need was an AR pistol, not that it took much convincing, but there wasn't one there to buy. Kind of a disappointing day. (except for the opportunity of visiting with La Bunny by the snack bar and catching up with Greg at the Oly booth.)I hadn't seen the Bunnies since I had gotten home from Hawaii, earlier in the month, so catching up at the gunshow was great. Saw them again the next day over cigars at Smokey Joe's in Fife. Greg said that we needed to get together again before I left again this coming week for Florida.  So, they called today and said they were dropping by. Asked them to join us for dinner (which ended up being a great two hours spent at a nice place with good food  )Anyway, back to Santa with the long fuzzy ears, when Greg arrived at my place he came in with a black rifle case. I figured he had a new toy to show me  . He walks in and says, "here, this is for you".  Inside was a Bunny built M4gery, complete with Colt 4X sitting on top.  Needless to say I was speechless (not a condition that anyone sees me in very often, words seldom escape me). I have always been grateful for having good friends, like the Bunnies, and this was just really sweet, thick icing on a very rich cake. Thanks Greg, I will treasure it. Just remember, payback is a bitch and now it's my turn again.  So, to all of you, best wishes for a Very Merry Christmas and a Truly Happy New Year. |
Could be, you never know. Of course, that statement can relate to almost anything when it comes to Da Bunny. Of course, we've been doing stuff like this for over 7 years now. A few firearms have changed hands, cigars, poker, great meals, other good stuff. He and Kathy are good people.
