I'm hearing rumors of snow tomorow night around here(washougal)

Infact, someone must be thinking snow tonight.. there were snow plows parked on KM Mountain(on Ocean Beach Highway/SR4) on my way home from Long Beach. That road must be a bitch when it gets nasty..

Went up past the old GF spot today (snow plow parked there) and it was snowing like mad. Beautiful up past Robe with about 4 to 6 inches on the ground. Rangers and Sheriffs popping wood gatherers left and right. I'm happy I didn't do a mag dump

With the snow and forcast weather you would think they would have better things to do. Sadly it is selective enforcement.

I had the kids and the dogs with me so I didn't dare pull out any toys. I think they were popping X-mas tree cutters, too.

Damn M11 is too easy to pull off a dump at a second's notice and waaaaay too temting

Learn me something,

It is ilegal to gather dead wood for your fireplace? On public land?

I do know that on Forest Service land, I almost got a nice fat fine cuz I did not pay for a permit to gather fire wood, I was not cutting anything down, just picking up limbs. I also know that about 8 years ago when pud did the massive cutting of trees from the power lines, I took a call for a guy that shot another man for gathering the wood from his right of way.

I know this is not much help, but Im sick and cant sleep.

Bellingham, WA

I'm going to work tomorrow just to get away from the family.

We were at Alderwood mall at 2:30 with big heavy rain drops, 3:30 it was a hard snow with poor visibility, drove up to get Ashtonn in Everett and it was snowing real good all the way there and back to Redmond. At teh bottom of teh hill it was 34 degrees and rain/snow mix, temps are dropping we should be covered by morning. I hope.

My streets don't get plowed, so if I want to get around without sliding around I just chain up.

Remember, I drive a Nissan Frontier two-wheel drive.

Besides, with the chains on I make the yuppies in their 4wd SUV's look like dorks.

With 35" M/Ts on the Dodge Ram CTD 4x4, I make yuppies in 4wd/AWD SUVs and weenies in little 2wd trucks with chains look like dorks. And all with the simple shift of a lever.

About 5"~ in the Snowhomish - Lake Stevens area. No problems getting around in the truck though.

The car, however, was another matter. I think I'll just suggest that the spousal unit just stay home tomorrow.
