So, I've had a <<twitch>> brown rifle since I was a teenager.  A Savage model 110 30-06.  Today at the show I decided to make some changes.  So, after buying a Stock, Harris Bipod, and a cheapie NC Star Mil dot Scope....

I give you the wanna be Remington 700







It's surprisingly lighter and hopefully the optic will hold zero for more than 20 rounds.

I had one of those NC Star scopes, It was mounted on my 24"AR. It actually did pretty will for what it was, I could get it to return to zero without any problem.

You all are starting to scare me with your hunting set up's..

I say we have a Arfcom hunting trip.

You have a pretty basic hunting set up, I would not use it for anything " Snactical, or Tactical".

Going to have to have a sight in day at the STRAT compound. ( MTC ) or everyone will only be sighting in for 80 yds.

When I was back in August.  Bigscrun Erex and I all spent a day BZOing our rifles and taking nothing but well aimed shots.

It was much more fun than you would think.

some how I feel good about this.

PCR-00 showed me, I could bump "dump" a 30rd mag.
A well a placed shot, is well everything. Some how I feel
good about this.

Nice.

I need something better than the fixed 4 power I have on my black bolt rifle. I might end up putting more money into the glass than I have in the rifle, including stock, timney trigger, etc. I could always upgrade later to put a nicer rifle under the scope.
