You guys have all likely seen enough LCR threads to last awhile, but I have something to say, that didn't really belong in the others. I just gotta give a big shout out to all of you who attended, and especially those of you who made efforts on behalf of others enjoying themselves and being more comfortable. These shoots keep topping the ones prior, and I think everyone has enjoyed watching them grow in to large & successful get-togethers. Not too bad for a bunch of knuckledraggers.  Just as there would be no Internet if everyone unplugged their computers, there would be no fantastic events to enjoy if you all just stayed at home. We were lucky with the weather this time, and every ones safety efforts were successful. Some guns bit their own bullets, but everyone went home still smiling.  The porta-poddy was a nice addition. Many thanks to all of you who made it happen for the rest of us. And thanks to the 'crazy folk' for leaving it in tact during the after-hours funfests. It made it possible for many to be much more at home while out roughing it, and we're likely to do it again.  The tannerite organization and delivery was damned generous and well organized. Huge thanks to all who participated and spent their own dough for the rest of us to be able to see the good stuff. And to all of you who shared all the neat toys with eachother. Wow!! I think most people who brought cool toys, let others shoot them much more than they did themselves! My post could drag on, about all the kind & generous deeds I witnessed over the weekend, but I know everyone gets enough of me around here already, so I'll spare you. I can't get in to naming all the specific people, but I will say it was a privilege to be there with you all. Not one asshat in the group that I saw, and if there was, they hid it well! My apologies to anyone I didn't get to meet & shake hands with. The whole thing was a blur. Pretty fast paced for this slow country boy.  My hat is off to the lot of you. |
That was the first thing that caught my attention when I went to LCR... I wish people around here could keep a range as clean as your's.

sniff....sniff......you just want another group hug so you can try to pinch my butt again don't ya  But, I'll say it again. You guys have a great crew, put on a helluva shoot and it was a great experience. One I hope to enjoy again soon  LCR is a shoot to judge all other HTF shoots by IMHO. |
That wasn't OdT pinching butts that night. It was Unicorn. He tried to pinch mine and worse but he paid for it with a trip over a chair.

That's a damn fine compliment Peta! Thanks to you & Yankeefan for making the trip, and for all the goodies you brought along too. Looking around this weekend, there were nothing but smiles and perma-grins on every face. That's what I call a success. (oh, and those weren't my fingers you felt sweetheart  )

When I fire it on the 4th of July, it sets off all the car alarms in the 'hood,, ,, but at LCR nobody even notices.
