I know that people don't like to post their places here (for obvious reasons), but could someone pm me a place that I could go shoot at within an hour of Bothell.  I used to go to Sultan Basin, Cedar Ponds and then Granite Falls about twice a month.  I haven't been since I think May when Granite Falls got shut down and am getting ansy.  Could someone help?

Actually, we don't know of any....

Everything is a longer drive followed by a long hike.....

That, or they're not telling me.....

I still shoot out in Cedar Ponds, I just make them work for it..

It is also hunting season, I have a varmit/small game tag

Honestly with Bear Hunting in progress, and Deer Season about to start up, Cedar Ponds is not a good place to go out into nowhere to shoot in, Odds are you will get shot at. I have been hearing about some shooting on FS road 63, but I have not been out that way yet. I also know there are still places to shoot out on the Mt Loop, but I dont know where they are. I have pretty much just gone out scouting for new spots to shoot and have a couple of small places, but nothing like I would like ( 100 yds +, but would be happy as a pig in shit for 200 +) I would like to see us find a spot out in East county that we can get numbers of us to, so we could run off the dirt bikers/quad riders, they are spreading like cancer out here, they have taken up some pretty good shooting spots, and are fucking up the area worse then the shooters ever did. They can have Reiter Pit, but they are just tearing the hell out of Deer Creek Flats. There was a nice little pit there but the Bikers keep taking it over for another hill climbing hill.

Edited to add, In Snohomish County we need to start making some noise about our shooting area's being taken away...There was talk about building a range for the public on county property, but it was brushed over...Maybe time to get that ball rolling again, Maybe in 10 years we will get something.

If you know how to get to Cedar ponds you can find the MTC just watch your Odometer when you turm onto BH road, go exactly one mile and take the next left to the north side of the road.

The backstop has not been improved yet so fire lanes need to be maintained but otherwise it is a pretty good place to shoot.

helloooooo, the ODOMETER is a device used for indicating distance traveled.  the SPEEDOMETER is obviously used to tell you how fast you are travelling the given distance.

Give it a rest.  You sound like just as bigoted against dirt bikes as the worst HCI idiot is against guns.

So where do I find this new riding area?
