You are driving in a car at a constant speed. On your left side is a valley and on your right side is a fire engine traveling at the same speed as you.

In front of you is a galloping pig which is the same size as your car and you cannot overtake it. Behind you is a helicopter flying at ground level. Both the giant pig and
the helicopter are also traveling at the same speed as you.

What must you do to safely get out of this highly dangerous situation?
Get off the children's "Merry-Go-Round", you're drunk.

The fire engine is moving at a slower rate of speed than I am;  because we are moving in an arc, with the fire engine on the inside of the arc relative to my position, the fire engine is traveling a shorter distance than I am in the same amount of time.

Does this mean I should have more to drink?

Pull up next to the pig, do a PIT manuever (ala COPS) on the runnning Pig, causing it to careen into the Fire Trucks lane. The Fire truck, which is bigger than the pig will either kill the pig, or its self be forced to abruptly change lanes. The Helicopter, probably flown by some stoned out Vietnam vet who never totally made it back from the highlands, will be forced to climb to avoid the carnage that ensues. Drive on your merry way.

Man I must be bored.

I thought that was one of the criteria for logging into this place!?
