OK, folks, I readily admit to being both a procrastinator, and a cheap bastard. I have never been real comfortable spending money on "Me" stuff, things that are just for my own fun. (Well, OK, since getting married...) Having taken so long to get a decent-paying job after retiring from the Army made it worse, we are just now digging our way out of debt. Necessities like food, beer , gas, beer , oil changes, and beer were always more important. Oh, I wouldn't quibble when LSW spent money on herself, she's the bookkeeper after all, so if she felt we could afford it, OK. (An E7's retirement pay covers the mortgage, insurance, and associated taxes. Anyone who bitches about military retirement rates, especially for NCOs, is...ignorant, at best.) But things like my own magazine subscriptions, books (when the library is free), CDs (see "books"), and membership in AR15.com could always wait until the next paycheck. So just when I'm thinking the next paycheck is about to arrive... What I am trying to say is, HOW DID I BECOME A GOLD TEAM MEMBER?! I was going to ask "when", but it looks like "yesterday."
