Looks like they have exhausted thier appeals and have 30 days to liquidate thier inventory. ATF really gave them a workover on the last inspection and found a few missing guns and shoddy record keeping. After the " Bullseye " D.C. affair, the atf has had a real hard one for poor record keeping..

Maybe the General Store Rip-off will actually have some good gun prices prices for once !

Well, what kind of inventory do they keep?  May be worth the trip depending on what they stock and if the drysiders are buying the beer.

Yup, they normally have a good selection. I hope our tax return comes in quick!

'Bout time.....loss of their FFL has hung over their heads for at least 3 years now.

Their selection is "good"...not excellent, but I suppose that's subjective to what you're used to.

They don't have anything super interesting black/evil gun wise. They do have a good handgun and Elmer Fudd selection but nothing you couldn't get cheaper down the street at the White-E . It will be interesting to see how they will handle the closeout " sale "...

Same way they handle regular sales.
Ignoring the customer for at least 10 minutes at first...to establish "Counter Superiority", after "noticing" them, it's best to talk down to the customer, since they really are ignorant...damn peasants. Take a break in the back, min 20 minutes or longer...play a little game where when you walk out again, you pretend to see the customer for the first time, even though you really went in the back to "check stock on that item" for THAT customer. Continue to try to tell the customer what he/she really wants/needs, then push uneccessarry aftermarket accessories. Ignore the guy who wants to buy a H&K and look at a Series 80 in favor of the "easy" sale of a .25 Raven or .380 Hi-Point to the fucker with his hat on sideways...instruct the customer how NOT to fill out a 4473...make sure the guy with the WA Army Nat'l Guard Hat doesn't hear you say that the .223 is ballistically superior to the .308......then make weak excuse when called on that fact........then claim you cannot build your own EBR...when challanged, claim there's "several ATF regulations against it....when BS is called again, and you're asked to bring out the ATF reference book...claim you don't have one.

Wow Matt,  You must have been in there a coupla times???  I go in there from time to time to pick up spped parts if I need somthing right now, I'll wander over there check the selection and man did you nail that place to a tee.  I have never bought anything from them since I never have had more than 10 minutes of counter service.  What you need to do is be some old crusty fu**** to get service.  How many old guys have you seen up at the counter BS'n?  I swaer its the same group and I only make it in there maybe twice a year.  I guess I'm just ranting since after every visit there I realize I dont know squat and their gun gods

Yeah...I've been in there a few times, and all of the above is based on actual experiance... There was a gal named Terri-Lynn who used to work the counter, she was good people. The rest of them were all ignoramuses. One of the sorrier fuckers who ever tended counter there was working at Brock's, and I hear that didn't last long once old man Brock discovered he was full of shit.

Wow the General store sounds almost exactly like the big gun store in my neck of the woods.  I won't name names, but it starts with a K and ends with a ring.

% 10 off

Article in the Socialist-Review today. Might be some bargains if they get to around % 40-50 off.

This is where you need to better develop your reading comp-re-henshun skillz.....
It says-
"Who wants to...."
Not
"Does anyone care to piss and moan over the fact that the have no life of their own, and will NOT be able to...."

Swung by on the way to work; they are thinning down a bit.

They do have a 19" 12 GA Siaga with threaded muzzle for $ 386 sale price , I already have one but anyone looking for one that is a good price for a hard to find shotgun.

What other good things do they have there?   I'm about 3 hours away but if they had something real cool I could run over there.
4/27/2006 8:55:39 PM EDT
[#16]
Socom $ 1550
AR180B $ 850
Century FAL $ 900
WASR $ 475
Saiga 22" bbl 308 $ 360

I would wait untill the week before 5/21 , they have ALOT of handguns ( Kimber,Colt,H&K, SIG etc etc ..)to get rid of and at 10% off right now most are still cheaper at the White-E or the Sportsmans Whorehouse

Do they still have that Kimber Warrior?
