I got one backchannel report, no confirm.......................yet!

It dump'd rain, It dump'd Snow, The winds started out about 30 mph gusts, and then all hell broke loose. By morning R-32's Popup with walls was twisted into a pretzel, Tumbleweed lost his also, 1GR's 10x30 Popup flip'd over the top of the Loveshack and was found full of water on the otherside. It took 6 people to get it righted. And then it started dumping and snowing again...ODT came out and told us if we wanted too we could all goto his place and he and 1GR split the pit. (1GR was first out of dodge).

IIRC, 1GR has set the dates for the two of them with shitty weather. I think he needs to be put on any committee other than schedule planning!

Agreed

I didn't bring the jacks for my camper this time. Every large gust of wind woke me up and made me think the camper was tipping over. I had 2 heaters going in the camper a couple times to make it nice and toasty warm

Those of us that stayed at the pit still got a metric ass-load of shootin' in. And we got a group pic. Not with my camera, however...

I got home from Tampa Friday night at about 12AM. I worked my ass off down there and woke up this morning and spread straw all over my newly graded lot. I'm not too bummed I missed this one at this point.

Besides PCR called me and said they were going to bug out if we didn't make it down so I figured they must have been miserable.

I do however have two new aquisitions that I am dying to shoot.

I need a vacation.

I don't understand. It's 78 and dry here.

I think 1GR finally got his wish. A non-shoot shoot!

Thanks to OdT for opening his home.

I've had all of that I'll ever need, I've lived in this state for over half a century.

we know the wind gusts didn't break 100 mph.our tape held up fine......only problem was, our canopy did not share that same rating.

the good thing is Wally-world will take almost anything back.

Got there and set up my tent on the leeward side of the rocks about 25ft from the fire and the damn thing turned into a kite... So I ended up sleepin in my comfy car instead. Worked out great. Then I got to dump a crapload of brass and then enjoy the warmth of ODT's place. I'm already lookin forward to the NEXT LCR
