I finally got my new upper from Denny. I want to break it in. Also, want to test out my new Benelli M1. Never fired a shotgun before, so this should be interesting. Anyways, i got a friend or 2 that will accompany me. How do we get to this place? We'll be leaving from Kent and have to head up to Seattle to get the other friend. And yes, I always cleaned up my mess when I was at the pit off #47. |

You know, that'd be a damned cool photo without the spiderweb of power/utility lines. Someone ought to send the city planners a copy of that pic and ask them if that was by design, or if someone lost a bet.

The Olympian, Olympia Washington Thursday, March 20, 2003 Mayor quits in wake of harassment claims Mayor Floyd "Butch" DeRosia has resigned, following complaints of harassment by two employees. No charges or lawsuits have been filed by the unnamed employees. The city's insurance company, Canfield and Associates of Ephrata, has investigated the complaints, but no determination has been announced. Granite Falls Police Chief Chuck Allen said he thought the complaints had been settled five or six months ago. "The whole thing was just an inappropriate comment that started this thing," he said. "It was kind of a joke kind of thing that blew up. It was very minor. It was a mistake." DeRosia declined to comment Tuesday, a day after stepping down, referring questions to City Attorney Don Lyderson. "I don't believe that Butch is guilty of any sexual harassment," Lyderson said. "I am not concerned about any kind of liability for sexual harassment." |
