I live right at the western end of the Columbia River gorge, in the hills outside Washougal.. so we get mostly wind and rain, even at 800 feet up.

In 1935 is snowed over SIX feet deep thats why most of the old barns only date back to 1935 the snow load crushed most of them then.

Weather patterns are different today but historically it is possible to get a lot of very deep snow even in the low lands, now in Skykomish 12 to 14 feet of snow was common in the 1950's.

NO to snow !

This is kind of fun. I've never had my transfer case in 4L on city streets, ever. That plus my 33 inch MTRs should give me plenty of traction.

Kick it into nuetral if it is an automatic when trying to stop, even at idle auto-trans will keep driving the rear wheels while the front is locked up and skidding.

well we do have alot people from the land of fruits and nuts that don't know that.

Guys like you seem to end up in the ditch or on the sidewalk while guys like me with a two wheel drive and chains keep right on trucking in the snow.

Now THIS is how you play in the snow.

I'm torn ... I don't like the snow, but if it snows enough to make it hard for folk to come to work, 1SG said we'd likely get the day off ...

This is before I decided to go push snow.

Also before the wheel bearings went out...Both sides.

Sealed units hubs/and bearings $400 a side + turn one rotor + new brakes = $850
