1GR & I have been taking an informal list of really shitty business names for years now. Some of them really are quite shitty, and they can make you wonder what goes through peoples heads sometimes. We were in Portland one day years ago, and over lunch 1GR is reading the paper as he burst out laughing. He found and advertisement for a gunstore named "Fairly Honest Eds" lol. In Olympia, I always notice the tanning salon named, "Jamaica Me Tan" WTF? Are they serious? ChelleShooter reminded me of one I knew in Tacoma. A restaurant named the "Poodle Dog". Can you believe the place has been doing well for years?  My all time favorite, and I believe the shittiest of shitty to date..... a carpet and flooring store in BC Canada that I drove past one morning..... "Dougs Rugs"!!!  I believe ol' Doug needs his ass kicked for that one!!! WTF Doug?

In Seaside OR, or somewhere in that area, there is a guy that has an electric company named, Electric Norm, has a little jingle on his radio adds something like, "electricality is his speciality, electric norm" Diffenitly different .The Poodle Dog used to have pretty good grub, I haven't eaten there in about 15+ years though. |
