is bad MMMmmmmmKay?         Was sitting out in front of one of my properties Saturday night. It's a good place to be between 0130 and 0230. Heard a four wheel drift then watched this Jeep go airborne through the three foot high rock retaining wall between the entrance road and one of the apartment buildings. Those large rocks in the picture do no belong on the sidewalk. The driver had started out on the other side of the street (4 lanes) at the convenience store.  Airbags deployed, seat belt functioned, driver still got a gash across his nose from bouncing off the windshield. That's him on the left, guy on the right is bystander who videotaped the accident scene. 21 y/o Navy guy out of Everett.

I forgot to mention that the tree in the background is about four feet from the wall of a three story apartment building. If he hadn't been sliding when he hit the retaining wall he would have ended up in the first floor bedroom where two gals were asleep. Was a damn close thing, everyone got lucky. That brown stuff on the roof and hood? Pine needles and dirt from the landscaping. I don;t think drunken posting ever killed anyone Who was drunken posting? That reminds me, I have 1GRs cell number again.

Cited for reckless and no ins after telling them he had been drinking since 0900, strong odor of ETOH, and apparent intox. Hour's response time, cut on his nose (previously cleared by TFD), and his having something to drink (soda) between the accident and their arrival led to the reckless instead of DUI despite his blowing a .12 BAC |
