Couple of questions:

1.  Will a car make the drive up?  I've got an Audi A4.  It doesn't ride too low, but if I'm not careful I will scrap going into my 30 degree incline driveway.  It's that or an 87 Cadillac.  Yeah...I'm a city boy.

2.  Besides a trunk full of firearms, ammo, smokes, paper targets, food, and beverage...what's a n00b need to bring?  I'm only coming for Saturday.

I'm looking forward to it.

It/they will make it if you stay on the logging road and not drive into the ditch.

You forgot Mountain Money and dark beer for your new friends.

I'm looking forward to it.

Cool.  I had issues with my Honda and ditches.  So far the Audi has proven immune.

Mountain money?

I hear ya on the beer.

Paper targets are just about useless here.  Bring reactive targets.  Use your imagination, but don't bring anything hard to clean up -  like glass or computers.

Like $0.50 Safeway Select 2-liter Cola?

What kind of range distance do we have? I've got a PSG build I've been wanting to test out over 200 yrds.

In the big pit max range from firing line to upper ridge is probably 150 yds, but there's a lot of other places to shoot in them hills.

Mountain money? OK city boy. Mountain money is what you can wipe your ass with. In the mountains its good trading stock when you come across city people that don't have any.

I hear ya on the beer.

Someone always brings 2 liter bottles with frozen colored water in them. Those always look like the very best idea for a target I have ever seen at a shoot.

A lot of people bring clays, but the big pit really isnt built for clays on the wall type shooting.

Tannerite is the target of choice.

Carbine monoxide is the one with the bottles full of colored frozen water IIRC.

The peeps that Bunny brought last time seemed to be a big hit.

Yeah those peeps. I think they were several years old(oddly enough they still looked good enough to eat). He stuck them on bamboo BBQ skewers and put them all over the range.

[Bunny]..It is always fun watching guys shoot $200 worth of ammo trying to hit a 2 cent marshmallow[/Bunny]

Another N00B question, this one regarding weapons--are AGM-84 Harpoon missiles and Minuteman IIIs OK to bring, or should I just leave that for the Barking Sands & Vandenberg shoots?

I'd be sure to have a spare and the stuff to swap it. There are some sharp rocks and performance tires can be weak off road.

Any spare warheads for stationary targets?

I'll also need the serial numbers.
