Well she did fine Sunday, but not full report as the mags were teh suck. Today I went to an arfcommers house who said he could fix them. Well he did, kinda. He welded in both mag catches. We noticed the mag catch wasnt very thick. We took one off of one of his rifles, it was .018 thicker. After recutting the holes, off I went to TSC. The two soon to be marrried ones met me there. First mag, one shot, bam. The mag hit the bench. Tried the other one, worked perfectly. Now I am up to one good mag and another one that flies across the room.  But on to Hillary. After getting a good mag (and latch) she went on to have a stellar afternoon. 400+ rounds, not one hiccup. Had the ACOG (TA01B) on her, she shot great groups. The tables in the public bays were teh suc, but the rifle did good considering. I have peace today, knowing this community rifle shoots god groups, feeds, fires and functions very, very well. I will acquire some good mags and she is good to go. She will appear at LCR for group fondling.  |
