Ya'all know I'm starting a handyman service. Well I have been saving my pennys and found what I think was a good deal on this 2000 Bobcat 863G High-Flow (wt. is about #7,500 lbs). I left for Spokane this AM to pick it up. The old 86 F350 6.9 diesel w/ the 3k pound trailer got 13.25 MPG going over there. On the way back I stopped off at the truck scales and she grossed 17,700 LBS & I got 10.25 MPG. I guess that's not all to bad for a Little 200 HP diesel. Fuel cost $145.00..  Now I need to start fabricating the attachments I need for it. Or improvise/modify used farming attachments. Bobcat brand or copy cat attachments are big $$.

So I'm sitting very proud right now. The thing that sucks is I just made more work for myself & now I'm broke.

ETA: This is my first very own tractor. But I grew up on a farm and worked construction off & on over the years so runnig her will be second nature.

Where you located?  Are you going to plan on renting it or only work with it done yourself?

Cool! In my younger and dumber days, we used to play bumpercar with those. Believe me, you know when you get hit!

Near Puyallup. I won't be renting it, but would be glad to do work with it. I got a F350 4x4 Dump truck I'm putting together. It's most likely going to be another few weeks to a month before thats welded up.

Attachments?......think quad .50, or at least a GEwhiz minigun.

I think I would try to get my hands on a post hole digger for one of those.  You could make some serious loot putting up fences.

I have not done much with fences other than build a few on the farm when I was a kid. But I do plan on getting the digger. Along with Tracks & Grapple bucket I'll make my self, back hoe, stump grinder, dozer blade, brush hog, drag, & a spade. I think I will be set. I can also rent most all those attachments for $150 a day OTD from Bobcat.

You never mentioned how much you paid.

A rock hound would make money in my area...

A brush hog is something I could use, about 2 acres of Balck Berrys and tall grass need to be taken down...
