Pay no attention-- they're just funnin'. Mostly each other. You'll catch the in-group jokes as you learn more about us; coming to lunch after a Puyallup gun show will help a LOT.

Welcome to the Hometown! What part of the state are you in?

By black rifle fever I am assuming you mean a sort of passion for the AR? Yes I do. It might be a "low grade" fever right now, but I'm sure it is contagious? Came1 I will check my six to see if you are coming across the bridge. Have a great weekend yall

Yes indeed that is what it means, take my advice and get out now while you still have money in your bank account and a wife at home.

Won't do any good. You'll just have more EBRs and no money. Better get out while you can. I'll take the EBRs off your hands so you can still have you money, marriage and sanity. IM with where to pick them up.

Maybe, but I'll take women over guns any day. Do you own an AR, if so put up a pic sometime, I still have yet to do it myself because I can't figure out how, I think I might be just plain old stupid

PVHS, wander over to the Build-It-Yourself Forum and look at the directions for building. It isn't hard at all, just not exactly intuitive in places. A lot of us have the necessary tools, so don't be shy about asking for assembly help. Once you see how one goes together, you'll always have a build either on the bench or in the back of your mind. (My current one is a copy of the old 604 Model from tyhe Vietnam War period-- coming along nicely. You'll be amazed at the parts that are out there--)

Ductapeman,
Thanks for the advice/offer mi amigo. I've had a pretty good life with rifles, but am a bit of a chump when it comes to AR's. Oh I can break em down and clean em fast enough, but I'm really learning as far as the intricate details of it. Anybody that thinks these things aren't fickle and have a mind of their own is nuts. Its a frustration and a joy. Look forward to seeing your 604 model pics. I'm sure you've put a lotta love, sweat and $ into it.
