I'm taking a friend out plinking this weekend.  I need directions to the Greenwater pit areas and can't find this thread that gave GPS data and directions:

I think it fell off, is there any way to bring it back?

Failing that, anybody know some places to shoot up past Greenwater?

TIA,
Justin

That thread is in the archive and only viewable by those with a Team Membership: My Trip to Greenwater with PICS. It cannot be posted to and brought back to the top, either. Here are some selected cut and paste excerpts with the pertinent information and directions:

Well I decided to go shooting today... So I packed up a bunch of gear, ammo, guns, and burned a CD of Alizee (sorry I have a huge thing for her) and headed for Greenwater. I got to Greenwater and stopped at the General store for fuel, and snacks.

Okay I got fuel, and snacks and now its on to FSRoad 72. To get to the entrance you follow HWY 410 up until you see the sign (the road is on the left). The cool thing is it is exactly 1hr and 15 mins from my house in Tacoma to this road.

Okay I finally arrived at the Pit. Its located on the right. For you GPS guys here are the numbers

Location: N47 04.199'

Elevation: 4481ft

Here are some pics of the pit.

Make sure you let us all know how it went up there, weather etc. I haven't been since back in Nov last year. I was contemplating making a trip up if there isn't a bunch of snow on the ground and cleaning up some of the crap up there. When I went last time there was 6-8" of snow on the ground but it was cool none the less.

I'll do that.

I was up at Snoqualmie Pass last week to take the kids sledding, and there wasn't much snow up there, about half the hill at Hyak was unusable.
