Just saw it.

The film is almost entirely footage from the sandbox.

I thought it was reasonably objective.

If you're sick of the shit you get from the rest of the media,
it's worth a view.

Sorry--in a hurry last night. Dinner, movie, and ... I wanted to get to the last part hangingHe gets to know some of the soldiers stationed there. Goes on raids with them.
Lots of real footage and you hear the voices of the soldiers that are actually there--
not the "talking head" analysts and other bullshit armchair warriors on CNN, Fox, etc.

Seattle filmmaker hanging out in one of Uday's bombed-out palaces.
He gets to know some of the soldiers stationed there. Goes on raids with them.

Is a non-mainstream movie...but it opens in Rochester, NY on 4/1/2005.

Looks good, I think I may actually venture down to the non-mainstream movie theater to see it.

This film was awesome.
Pretty lite on the gore/violence, but you didn't need to see it to understand what was going on, or what affect it had on our troops and the Iragis.

I got to see it with a couple of guys from Pre-ban. I really thought it was well put together. IMO, it wasn't one sided or another. Just a nice documentary about the war in IRAQ from one part of the war. (Gunner's Palace)
