dude, i tried to go up there last week, and about halfway up, we encountered snow.  My friend's civic couldnt get up it safely, so we decided to find a different spot.  We found a spot by the river, shooting into the bank.  You only get about 50 yards or so.  Nice spot.

PS, exit #47 in "Mt. Baker National Park"?  If so, I've been informed, it's ILLEGAL to have a loaded firearm in any "National Park"......

FAQ - What are the fishing, hunting, and firearm regulations in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest?

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife regulates hunting and fishing activities even on National Forest land. Find the rules and regulations on the Washington State website.

Firearms: Firing a gun is not allowed: a) In or within 150 yards of a residence, building, campsite, developed recreation site, or occupied area b) Across or on a road or body of water c) In any circumstance whereby a person may be injured or property damaged.

If we couldn't take firearms into National Parks there sure would be a lot less hunting and shooting going on that is for sure. Isn't the next shoot in a National Park? Capital Forest or something?

There are differences between a National Park and a National Forest.

two wholly different animals, each with its own enforcement arm.

FWIW bosifus, the Capitol Forest is a State Forest, not a National nothing.
