I just recieved my Fulton Armory Upper today. Ive had perma smile ever since. I cant wait to get to the range. Hopefully i will get a chance to shoot it tomorrow. This is my First AR hopefully more to follow as long as that stupid AWB bill gets shot down. This finish match on the lower and the upper sux and the lower to upper fit isnt great but is functional. But I dont plan on keeping that lower with this upper for very long anyway. Just something to get me started. Was the price comparable to other vendors? I have ordered small parts from them, but only when one of the other vendors didn't have what I wanted, simply because of the price. Did receive the orders promptly and had no problems. I haven't really looked at complete upper prices from them.

Total Price Paid for complete upper was $659 including shipping with chrome lined bore and chamber $ 35 . and detachable carry handle. The carry handle cost me $89 extra. It may have been slightly more expensive than some other more well known brands. But I know that if i ever have any problems I will get first rate customer service from Fulton Armory. Not to mention the upper came with First Samco Hand Guards with a rail on the top and on the bottom. as well as a front sight quick detach swivel sling mount. a comparable upper from Bushmaster would have cost me. $665 before shipping www.bushmaster.com/shopping/uppers/pre-ban/bura2b16m4.asp Add in the M4 Hand Guards. and A3 with carry handle. |
Fulton are the only folks with the non-forward-assist bolt carrier I need to complete my slick-side upper. (That I got a few years ago for $25 when nobody wanted them.) Clint personally sent me an email to let me know this; I have no prob spending money on quality-- it beats spending money twice on garbagio. And yeh, JAFO, I've drunk slivo with some Polish paratroops in a little bar out behind Fort Lewis-- odd stuff-- I can still feel the hangover--
