Was wondering what kind of rides my fellow Washintonians have. I have to say that I love my 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Does me proud. Not bad at a little offroading... have yet to lift it but I plan on a 4" lift and some beefier tires eventually. Would throw more money into it... but I'm too busy trying to get my AR 15 purchase out the door. Not to mention my computer just crapped out on me, so I have to throw some money that way. I'm only 18 so I've just been opened to the chance of buying the AR, but I've drooled over it for years. Dad always wanted one, mom wouldn't allow it. I talked her into it though :) I'll be out soon after the school year anyways! I just threw a $300 Alpine CDA 9831 into it! Looks good. Sounds great. Recommend it to anyone looking for a new deck. So what does everyone else drive to gunshows :) Nikkels |

2003 Dodge Durango R/T (before the screwed up the body style....) Wife drives this more than I do because I have a company car, which is a.... 2003 Dodge Caravan. Yep, a god damn minivan. But, I don't pay a cent for it, not for gas, maint, tires, car washes, insurance, nothing! So I can't complain too much. I'll have it for one more year and it will likely be replaced with a Chevy Trailblazer. Can't wait. I drive this thing about 20,000 to 25,000 a year.... I sure miss my Durango though.... |

I don't know how some of you people with 3+ cars do it. Stop slanging so many damned drugs! :) Justin03R6 - Bah, I want an R6 really bad. Those things are sweet, nearly 200hp between your legs, sends shivers down my spine. I'd kill myself on that thing, I know it. Nice to see a lot of Grand Cherokees out there! Same model as mine too, man I love the thing. lrry491 - sorry about the theft issue, girlfriend had her 96 wrangler stolen and the crackheads spraypainted it. UGLY, oh so ugly. She got it back and repainted however. Who would spraypaint a car? They stole it, spraypainted it black, even though it was ALREADY BLACK. I would have guessed they did it to change the cars identity a little, paint it a different color as not to be recognized. This is where I live, meth-head city.
Haha StrkAliteN ! I have 225k or so on mine and the thing never sounded better! Keep up on service, oil change, and tires, the thing will outlive me. It has a straight 6 so the engine will keep ticking long after the frame rusts away. I love my Jeep! Good thread, nice cars. I used to hate these threads before I got my Jeep. I would be like - "Yeah, you all have nothing on my '95 Hyundai Sonata that's been through 4 accidents, flood damage, and a shotgun blast in the floor, with my tailgate barely hanging on by some anchor rope... Yeah, beat that!" Man am I glad those days are over... *shivers at the thought of an import car* How about those new '05 Corvettes? Damn those things are sleek, sexy, and fast. I'm definately going to purchase one of those in the next few years and give my Jeep to my girlfriend! They are so awesome. Used to be a Viper fan, but the new model Vette is just too cool... and way cheaper, sorry Viper fans :( Nikkels |
2002. I have a cold air intake, new C&L upper plenum and intake elbow, accufab throttle body, Predator programmer, plugs, thermostat, 4# lower pulley, traction bars and driveshaft loop. Thinking about selling most of those parts and buying a Whipple blower when they come out. |
Don't you already have a blower on that thing??? |

95 Jeep YJ Putting TJ flairs on it now and making it a flatty. Still needs Dana 44's installed and 36 inch meats with lockers, a winch and a black paint job. But I'll get there one day it's not a priority. The other is a 86 F350 Diesel 4x4 with 6" lift and 33x12.50s. I'd get bigger tires but I would have to regear it. And I still have my fist truck I bought when I was 18. Its a 84 F350 but needs a 6.9 diesel and a whole bunch of TLC. Im looking to get a Ford or Dodge diesel 4x4 dually, w/ manual trans, 1985-1995. If anyone knows where one is for a good deal please let me know. |
If you end up going with the Whipple blower, keep me in mind for your parts. EAsy local sale to another lightning/AR guy :) I have a stock 02 :) |
Will do. |
Yes, but it is horrendously inefficient and peaks at 14 psi--beyond that it loses boost and gets too hot to actually make any more power anyway. |
