I figure with all the new guys reporting in, I'll sneak in without getting much flame.  The Good news is I'm not in the Navy; I'm much worse   Coast Guard....    That ought to heat up this post.  I'm soon to be a new owner of a Rock River NM damn the 6 to 8 week delivery.  Will be using it regularly to put nice little holes in paper.  Going to attempt to earn a distinguished marksman award, in the next five years or so.

Puddle pirate????  If that is what you call the north pacific, arctic, north Atlantic, all in the same trip.  Those are some mighty big puddles     Oh yeah I have been to 11 different countries in the past 4 years on the job, not bad for a Coasty

Mexico, Canada, are different countries, as are Newfoundland, California and parts of Texas.

I demand a recount!

yes, canada, mexico, russia, japan, greenland, australia, tazmania, chile, peru, Curicau (Netherland Antilies), Antarctica.    Though i guess you could argue that Antarctica is not a country.  Back to the topic of AR-15's  I shot the CG course the other day, scored expert.  Though i have alot of room to improve at the off-hand.

OK, OK...you're on a big boat-(They have Icebergs off the coast of Peru and Chile? I'm never going "overwater" again!)....didja get to change out or keep your qual ribbon as is? Didja fire the M9 as well?

You used a real M16A2 right? NOT a sub-cal .22LR? (They suck anyhow, FTF, FTE, ect, ect)

Just wondering about this-BTW-Ever meet a Officer by the name of Wiesner? Last I knew he was part of the West coast HazMat team stationed in CA, IIRC, Huntington Beach?

Since the Dude's my cousin...

Where in Peru exactly did you go?
My wife and I were down there for 2 weeks this last summer.
Went to Lima, Iquitos, Cusco, Macchu Picchu and the Sacred Valley.
We had a blast there.
Spent most of our time in Iquitos doing medical and dental stuff for the locals with a non-prifit orginzation.

Come next summer we are going back down there.

Later,

Yep it was the m16a2 shooting m193  i'll have to take some photos of my targets, also qualed sharp shooter with the M9.  Even through a mag through on burst afterward.  Not that impressed.  It's hard to stay on target, even leaning into it.  but i guess it would be nice to have when SHTF

In Peru we were in Lima ( forgot how to spell it)    BTW Peru is on the way to Antarctioca, they have ALOT of ice there...   And i havent met Wiesner.  Next time i'm down that way i'll ask around though.
