Any briefcase sized locking cases around anywhere? I need something that locks to put my pistols in for impending air travel. I am thinking 24x12-18x4, more or less. Figured 88 sets of eyes was better that my one and one of you Thanks! |
| Have you looked at GI Joes? I was at the one in Vancouver the other day and there was one like you described but it was probably 6" deep. It had a brushed aluminum outside, and had places to put two locks on it. I think it was made by Winchester but don't quote me on it. |

Here's a good gun briefcase. . . Or is that a good briefcase gun? |
He hasnt told us...............yet..... Thanks to all on my pistol case hunt!!!! I picked one up from a friend in Tacoma today, so while I was down there, I went to Bullseye. I wanted a kydex for my XD. They only had Blade-Tech, at $60.00, But then the very helpful guy showed me a Springfield Armory XD Gear holster. I have googled my ass off and cant find one, but its some funky looking Kydex paddle holster ("Made in Israel"- ?Fobus?). It has a top and lower rail, fits 3,4 & 5 in XD's, 9 & 40. It also is cant adjustable. The best part was it was $29.99, and it comes with a questionaire. When returned to Bullseye, they will give me a store credit of $20. A 10.00 paddle kydex holster!!!! Then as I looked around, they had a locking briefcase, made for guns. Right dimensions, I asked him about that one. None NIB, $20 out the door!!! It was a great day at Bullseye! I also stopped at Sportco on the way out of town. I had never been there before, and had heard the name a 1000 times. Big ass inventory, everything you could ever want for anything outdoors. They had at least 15 models of pistol carriers, all shapes and sizes. They had the cheap plastic locable pistol carriers for $6, but the decent ones started at $40. Bullseye was the deal of the day place to be. Net- $30, got Kydex and a sweet briefcase pistol carrier. |
