anybody score anything?

Got a great deal on an OTIS cleaning kit for the AR.  It's the one with the round pouch thingy.  Only $25!!!!!

Other than that, the ammo selection was lacking for the AR. NOBODY had Q3131A or Fed XM193

Found some Fed SS109, but didnt want those.

Got a decent deal on Gold Dot 124 +P though.  Much better than online.

I picked up a couple of MEGA lowers from Iblis aka carricoz and a box of ammo for my 50 Beowulf so I can try it out next weekend.  I'll be moving to MT in the spring, so I plan to shoot at least a deer if not an elk, or moose with it next fall

I'll be interested in anything you have to say about 50 beowulf.

Worked one of the NRA tables there, not many new memberships...

My friend got a new .380 Llama for his wife via private sales.  Nice little gun, it feels like a minature 1911.

I didn't find ONE Glock supply table with +2 mag extensions or factory 3.5lb disconnects, or anyone who had new production 70 series 1911s.
Big show but nothing I was looking for.

Oh yeah, found NIW Colt mags with green followers for $20ea!  20rd'rs were only $25.  Mag's are so available and cheap now, makes me wish I'd waited on buying mags 5 years ago.  Oh well.

You know, i bought my WAC membership in June or so.  Does it last a whole year, or just til the end of this year?

I gave SNS $3,600 for some custom lowers..........

I bought 40 rounds of M856 tracers from James......

I couldn't sell my Colt A2 HBAR, bummer.......

Other than, a wasted trip.......

There were a few goodies I saw, too bad I didn't have the money to take advantage of it,
Spas 12 for $800
M1 for $400 ( very rough)
couple Glock 22 mags, NIW for $15
Clinton had at least 5 pistol marked, stripped lowers. He also had a black magpul 93 for $185
Apparently he has plans on making some upper recievers without the forward assist sometime in the future.

The one thing I really needed was a pistol recoil buffer, and couldn't find one at all.

Shoulda opened yer eyes dude, :) Seriously ,'cause I have one on my table, the guy behind me has a Scattergun Tech. clone, and I saw 2 walk by that were interesting enough to catch my attention, one was a 30"+- vent rib with a 12 shot mag tube on it and a BC folding stock.  Plenty o' Rem 870s available.

I got some rail covers from Oly arms.  Not a bad price: $3, $6, and $9.

The guy that shares a table with Caricoz had the brown magpul followers.  $2 each or 10 for $15.

Mag prices have sure fallen.  Picked up three more 30 rounders for $10 a piece.

I'm still trying to find more sig 226 mags in 9mm if anyone sees them.  The few places I saw them they were either not factory or they still had the "ban" price in effect ($60-$100).

You sure? I bought 1,500 rounds from John (James' table) and am sure he had XM193.

The search is still on for a 5" pre 27 Smith.

That would be Marty Hale, he is a good guy, I've bought a bunch of those followers from him, as well as other things.  He is on my "good people" list.

I picked up a Mega lower.  I was bummed out that they would not honor the $89 price listed on the web, but $100 out the door isn't that bad I guess.

You must elaborate!  What kind of custom?  I wanted to find the SNS table so I could ask about dedicated 45 ACP lowers, but I didn't have much time to spend there.  Does SNS usually have a table at the Monroe show?  I'd like to pick up one his lowers before I move back to MT where AR stuff is hard to find.  The brown suited santa can deliver anything else.

Details and pics will be posted once I/We receive the lowers.  That should be sometime in mid January.  Nothing too special, just custom markings.  But some REALLY cool custom markings!  I'm sure there will be some great feedback on those markings.....

Devin didnt have a table there but i did run into him and he told me he sold out at the moment. Glad i got mine when i did. I been meaning to get my photo on here to show everyone who didnt see my ar at last monroe show. Ya 100 dollors for mega lower the only positives is that they are marked for pistel. I remember someone saying they could get them for $85 I guess SNS lowers are not that bad of deal now for $100 out the door. (i just wanted to open can of worms a little)

What you are seeing is capitalism at its finest. You like them and the price buy them. You don't like them or the price, don't buy them. If Mega/SNS outprice themselves for consumers they will either go bankrupt or bring their prices down.

Capitalism, you have to love it.....

dont worry i was just taking a little jab for fun of it. I having nothing against mega. I just wanted to have little fun messing with people.  To be honest im probably going to pick up mega reciever since SNS doesn t do pistol yet. Mega makes good products or they wouldnt be selling like hotcakes.

REALLY?!?! I thought I did a pretty good job this time looking at stuff throughly.

What I'm looking for is the  18" Remington 870 Express Synthetic with extended magazine.

Have one?  Got a shop?  Price?

I was also looking for some 15rd HK 9 magazines, but no such luck. Found some 10rd for $20 though.

but then there wouldnt be any question that this reciever is pistol reciever. Your right it doesnt make any difference on the marking but only the registration. My reasoning is that it will make it alot easier to prove that it was register as a pistol to the police.

Before you do too much messing with people, make sure you read over the Conduct Code. You can find the link in the upper right corner of your browser. Just a friendly reminder.

I'm not much better, but I don't think spellcheck or phonics would help most.  What really drives me nuts is people using the wrong word.  The ones I see misused most are: their, there, the're, and two, to , too.

We do have one available to us (if we are using IE). Its called iespell and can be found HERE. I have it and it is a simple program that resides in my task bar and corrects my spelling (when I use it).

As for the hooked on phonix, you're on your own.

Am I the only one to notice that Clinton had a couple of MEGAs in colors at Puyallup this weekend?  I saw a pair of upper / lower combos in OD green and some shade of brown.  With all the green furniture out there now, an "evil green rifle" is increasingly more possible.

Clinton usually has colored Mega upper and lower combos.  The brown looks too goldish and the green looks too bright though.  This was the first I've seen a SOCOM mfg. billet lower and a Oly Titanium lower there though.
