If you want to laugh, go do a search on singleside!

So where in Pa. are you? I'm in southern York County, just north of the Maryland border.

Again, welcome!!

Yeah I caught some that act last week, what a knucklehead.

I'm from the Philly area not to far from York. I used too go there quite alot so I know the area fairly well. I noticed your going to the  shoot M4 is having in Feb , I'm gonna try to make it . We'll see what happens .

Quick question: How does one become a moderator?

Obviously post count doesn't matter, with the new Mod having only 300 something.

No flame intended slide, but how one becomes a Mod is a damn good question.

None taken Colt.

To answer the question , it's easy just ask if they need help somewhere. I don't think the amount of posts you have has anything to do with it. (like you said I only have 300) I would guess it's more of a willingness to do it more than anything else.

Well, it doesn't matter if your post was 1 of 1, all I can say is, welcome as a Mod, and make us proud!

Take care,

ColtC.

My answer:

I generally watch the forums looking for active and helpful participants within the forum.  Mod duties in the Hometown are primarily to keep the peace, help generate interest in the forum, and hopefully help coordinate shoots and events.

In a forum like Hometown, it wouldn't be too bad, but I wouldn't be a mod in GD even if you payed me. A lot.
