I can't help with what you're asking as I didn't get over to that area much but...
The hammer can be changed by anyone with average dexterity. Have you ever tried to change one or even watched a YouTube vid covering it? Even if you only have a small screwdriver and something to tap it with you can get it done. Proper tools are always better though, small hammer and punch. Two small blocks of wood would also assist in changing but two books or similar would also work. ETA I'd bet someone in your area would teach you. |

skip to 13:13 for hammer installation. It is very straight forward, but if you run into any issues feel free to shoot me a PM and I can talk ya through it over the phone. |

If you ever come towards hershey i can do it in 5 min. Also can you return the bolt and just buy a ramped one? A ramped one will work with a standard hammer. Thanks for the offer! after looking at the vids I think I can get it done. I have the exact apposite problem, I bought a complete 9mm upper with a ramped bolt, but my RRA dedicated 9mm lower has a notched, non-rounded (non-standard) hammer. I guess I got lucky in the fact a new hammer is alot cheaper than a new bolt. Thanks to every one for all the help! |

Understand now, not a hard thing to do just make sure the spring is installed correctly. Also look into kns pins since 9mm uppers tend to egg hole the fcg holes in lowers after time. |
