Thanks for you. I, like you, believe the second amendment must be protected. I also believe each of the ten amendments in the Bill of Rights are essential to our personal liberties and freedom, and none should be touched, changed or violated. You should feel free to contact Congressman Dent or either Senator Toomey or Casey to express your feelings on the national debate. As a state, not a federal, legislator I cannot comment on what our US General Assembly might do on this issue. I know in PA, there are as many Democrats as Republicans who feel as I do about the second amendment, and so i do expect a lot of protesting and debate from the left, but I do not believe there will be any legislative efforts on restricting gun ownership.
