Anyone in the Lancaster area know anything about them? I've been hearing radio advertisements and seen signs for them. Just wondering if anyone has taken a class or knows anything about them.
Thanks |
They don't return paying customers phone calls. Class was good but I don't beg anyone to take my money. Anyone else local besides Sayoc? Looking for beginner carbine class in same area served by Direct Action Tactless.
Eta took a pistol class, have no experience at their gym |

http://bhtcorps.com/index.html Black Hat Training Corp is excellent. They do precision rifle and carbine classes, as well as some other courses. Experienced guys who can also teach. They use New Holland Rifle and Pistol Club fairly often. Big plus one for blackhat....if you want a carbine / precision course worth your money that is the place to go... |

I like Black Hat.
I know the mfic over there a little bit and he is who he says he is. I asked a couple questions of a guy on pafoa who fancies himself a trainer- he never got back to me with his creds. I'm not sure if that's the group you mentioned but failure to provide training credentials and experience for the purpose of vetting is a no-go at this station. |

Our website is fixed. Sorry for the outage guys, it wasn't our fault. Still working out the 2012 schedule with various clubs, but we do handle 1 on 1 training if that is desired, or if you don't mind playing in cold weather (we don't). ––Fargo007 yea get that 2012 schedule up with some level 3 and 4 carbine/cqb stuff

Don't know good trainers from bad, but DAT instructor bios are on the website, and their courses seem to be pretty popular around here. I've worked with a couple of their guys. Seemed to have some good programs. I was supposed to take a carbine class with them, but it was on that day that we had like 5" of snow. I didn't bother going out, I know a fight could happen in the cold weather, but this guy doesn't do cold weather.

plenty of other guys locally to take classes from - Sayoc tactical group for one... I would recommend Northern Red for you if you like Sayoc. FYI, Tom is doing a CCW / Edged weapons integration with Kyle Defoor next year in Pitt. I will be there and I'm sure it will be an outstanding class. Northern Red is doing classes at Palmyra. I was at their invitational a few months back. There are very few training outfits with the bios of Northern Red. |
