[ARCHIVED THREAD] - GOULDSBORO range

Does anyone know if Gouldsboro range is open? I called and emailed both times I left a message with no response. I am going to the Pocono's (Tobyhanna) this weekend and would like to finally shoot my Garand. If it's closed are there any other public places NEARBY to go?
I was up there in Sept and it was closed back then for a few months.

archbald mt (41.493685,-75.513111) is open. I know it was closed around the same as G for lead removal.

Used to be a state range on suscan road (41.264887,-75.691362).

not sure either, but they want to close it for good, because of to many assholes ruining the place.

Its closed because they are building a new range in the area of the Game Commission building on rt 423 due to open in Oct (hahaha.....yeah, right). They are moving the dirt from the old range.

the old range was cool, and secluded. but that brought out alot of asshats. doing really stupid stuff.
