Anyway to get a state EE section for ftf sales? View Quote AZ specific EE |

One thing AZ Shooting did was lock new members out of their classified section. I made some good deals there, never understood why they would road block growing the board.

I believe it was an effort to restrict those that just signed up to sell something. Many would post an ad and not even reply to it because they wouldn't log in. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Tagged for rollout of new site.
I think I’ve been on AZS for 15+ yrs. over the years it has been the best source for local ftf non-douchery folks. |

It's very new right now and he is open to suggestions. |

way too many sub folders on this new site, esp for a state centric forum... that is what killed glocktalk and didn't do azshooting any favors either...

Email notifications should be fixed. As Tim said, some may go to a spam folder, depending upon your mail provider and settings because the forum uses the server's php mail() function to relay rather than SMTP.
I did activate all new accounts manually for anyone that registered prior to about 15 minutes ago and hadn't activated their account on their own. |

Quoted: Are we not using azshootingzone? View Quote So ArizonaShooting.ORG will likely attract those people who remember the days of the old site, and we'll grow from there. All are welcome. Use all the boards if you want; whatever your preference. |

Use whatever you want. I was the one who originally built the ArizonaShooting.com site ~15 years ago, and transferred it (in retrospect, not a great choice, but was best for me at the time). It continued, but without much development or support, and the state of it today is a result of that, unfortunately (down/dead?). Several reached out to me to put up a new site over the last several years to restore a new site to how it used to be. When this outage happened last month, a few more reached out to me to ask, and the timing just worked, so I put up ArizonaShooting.ORG now. Others seem to have started a new board as well; there are several others in this thread - presumably to fill the vacuum by the .com site going down. So ArizonaShooting.ORG will likely attract those people who remember the days of the old site, and we'll grow from there. All are welcome. Use all the boards if you want; whatever your preference. I'm registered. I didn't get the email though.
The old site was ok. Made some good trades there when it was up. |
