I have a 2002 F250 4x4 with 190k on the clock.  What were crisp 2-3 and 3-4 shifts are now soft, and I'm hearing noises I don't particularly care for during those shifts.

So, can anybody recommend a transmission shop in Tucson that can rebuild by 4R100?

At the recommendation of a couple of people I know, I'm dropping it off at Aztec Transmission this afternoon.  Little shop just East of I-10 on Grant.  Hopefully I'll have it back in a week.

Haven't had any tranny work done but jack farrier has always been good to me my uncle and cousin.

Another source for you:  Darrel Stowe at Lloyd's Transmissions on Dodge just north of Ajo.  He's a big Toyota/Jeep guy but super knowledgeable and a real standup guy.  If he can't do it he'll definitely recommend someone.

Had a transmission replaced in an old 4Runner by Automotive Recalibration off Golf Links and Swan.  They did a good job and had the rig in and out in short order.
