For anyone needing a great gunsmith check out Gary Reeder in Flagstaff. 2601 e 7th ave Flagstaff AZ. I just had a 1911 done by him and the price and quality of workmanship was outstanding . I have used the well  known grouchy gunsmith in the valley in the past and was very disappointed . Garry is without a doubt the best and his prices are great as well . Both he and his wife are great folks to deal with and worth the trip .
His custom guns are a work of art . reedercustomguns.com

"1in gun at 50 yrds with a factory barrel"

Would you have a picture of a target to support that?

Does his name rhyme with Nelson Ford? Because even though I live less than 10 minutes from him, I'd drive across town to use someone else after he buggered up the trigger on one of my Colt 1911s, and also one belonging to a friend. He tried to blame me, the fact that it was in .40 (factory), and on and on. My friend's 1911 was in .45 so his arguments don't hold water.

Nothing quite as exciting as a runaway 1911.... Bang. Bang. bangbangbangbangbangbang. Fastest Bill Drill I've ever done.

Ed Cameron has done all my 1911s since then and there is no looking back.

Looks like someone let the cat out of the bag . Beyond the claimed quality of the work is the ATTITUDE and that is big part of the problem
