I know some of you guys have NV too as there was some talk of doing a NV shoot. I have a line on getting some NV training from a local SWAT team leader if I can get enough guys. This would not only be shooting but include general use of NV, movement, driving, tasks etc.
If anyone is interested , let me know.

Do you have to have your own set of NVG's ? Or would some be provided? NVG's are not cheap by any means, so not sure how many peeps would have their own personal pair. I sure don't.
I have plenty of experience with using NVG's for all things mentioned in the OP from my time in the military, but would still be up for some LEO take on the subject. |

What are his credentials besides being SWAT ETA: his relevent credentials. I do know he is qualified to teach this kind of stuff, just don't know what his exact credentials are off the top of my head. I'm mostly trying to gauge interest. I definitely feel you though, lots of people instructing now on stuff that is way out of their lane. I'll try to get back to you on that with a definitive answer.
