Can anyone point me in the direction of a person/shop that can make a custom DPMS LR-308 pattern barrel in a wildcat chambering of my liking? That also won't cost an arm an a leg. Thanks in advance.

East valley,

Call Lance at Dane Armory/Custom rifles.  He is more of machine shop for guns/parts than a builder anymore.  But does good work.

They build all of our precision rifles, and a few of our carbines, too. Sent lots of students over there, everyone's been happy. Excellent guys, and Veteran owned, as well as local in Prescott.

I'll second this. They did excellent work on my 6.5 Creedmoor barrel.

You can try a local smith."http://www.careycustomrifleco.com/index.htm". He is Located in Florence. Not sure if he does 7.62, but he did a  great job on a custom 5.56 barrel and upper for me a few years back.
