Where is a good place in Phoenix (any side of town) to buy single parts, parts kits, etc., to do your own builds?

I've found you kind of have to shop around to find everything you might need. I get my LPKs at US Autoweapons, recently picked up a buffer tube assembly i could not find anywhere else at Bear Arms, Scottsdale Gun Club has a good selection of stuff. None of them have everyone at one time though. Those are my 3 favorite stores in the east valley. YMMV

Great, thanks for all the info.

I am getting ready to do my first build, lower only, that I found for pretty cheap and I want to buy some parts.  I ordered the Magpul wrench and BEV block (not so cheap) so I think I will have to build more than one so the tools can pay for themselves.

Anyway, I'll check out the places recommended.  Thanks

Get yourself a good set of punches and a brass hammer, they can come together in a nice set. You'll thank yourself down the road. Makes so many things easier.

I know the US Autoweapons has Spikes LPKs (which I like a LOT, high quality stuff). If I were you I would go there and pick one of those up, and then go to Bear Arms on Shea and get one of the BCM buffer tube assemblies they have than include the buffer tube, endplate, castle nut, buffer spring, and carbine buffer. Find yourself a stock you like and you have yourself a finished high quality lower!

If you need any help assembling please don't hesitate to get in touch with me. I love building rifles

Merchant Arms off I-10 and Chandler (48th street) has a good selection of LPKs triggers and misc parts.
Not sure about individual pins and such.
