Just trying to get some opinions since I am tweaking one of my target designs. I am adding some shoulders/short arms to my front facing steel target for ranging and wanting to see what everyone is using for the average shoulder width? Some are using 20", some are using 19" and some are switching to 18" from my research. So to appeal to the masses, what size should I use? I originally thought people could cut out some cardboard and tape on there own arms to there preferred width but I want to provide a more complete package. Thanks in advance.

I'd say the best average shoulder width would be between 18-18 1/2

Thanks AR-Sniper,

I was leaning towards 18" for ease of calculations and some scope manufactures are using 18" lines in their scopes, like leupold. I only know of one scope using 19" and that is the acog. 18.5" is more the true width from my research from medical charts, but I think staying with a whole number would be best.
