Getting a reloading press for Christmas and I was wondering where were the best places to look for primers and powder in the east valley?

Bruno's shooting supply had great prices and good stock but I haven't bought from them in a while so not sure if it holds true . If you are doing a big enough order I would also check out powder valley online.

Bruno's has a ton of powder and primers. They got a large shipment a couple of weeks ago.

Third vote for BRUNO'S.     7th St and Cave Creek, across the way from the airport in that area.   Best selection I have seen, and they even managed to have product during the crunch, about 8 months or so ago.   Only open till noon on Saturdays.

I like the fact that BRUNO's has a great selection of powder --- 1lb and 8lb containers --- and generally they are stocked with just about any brand you want.

Although, I believe that BRUNO's primer prices are a bit higher than Sportsman's, but the only problem with Sportsman's is the inventory goes fast, and they don't have much of it.

I second powder valley.  The only thing is that their inventory is hit and miss with the current demands.  Otherwise great prices and quick shipping to boot.

Otherwise Sportsmans, but you have to keep going back.

Lester Bruno is a Hall of Fame benchrest shooter and rifle builder.  His shop is tailored somewhat to that segment.  It's in a small industrial complex with no retail front.  Make sure you know what you want before you get there or order online and pick it up.

Bruno's is good, but roughly double what prices should be on powder/primers.

+1 for powder valley if you're planning on any volume of loading at all - you'll want to order 5-10k primers & as much powder as you think you'll need all at one time to soften the hit on hazmat & shipping, but the prices are as low as you'll find anywhere.  "Like" them on Facebook & you'll get a heads up when they're getting stock in on high-demand items.

If you only need a box or two of primers, I've got tula small & large pistol I'll sell @ my cost (about $26 per k if I remember correctly), and I'm right near Bruno's in N Phoenix.

They are nice at Bruno's, but the price on primers there was *ouchy* for a while..  not sure if they've eased up yet..

The reason Bruno's had stock during the panic was because their prices were double retail. I used to patronize the, but not anymore.

There's a difference between the market bearing the price, and price gouging. Bruno's was price gouging.
