| Anyone heard anything about C3 Arms owners house being raid by ATF yesterday? |

Shit! I have a can there. I'd recommend submitting a request with the BATFE Phoenix Field Office stating your full name, address and the make/model/serial number of the suppressor stating that it's yours pending the form 4 approval and ask about the status. NFA Branch will probably not give you any answers that will be helpful. |

Well you'll either get a fast forward to the front of the approval line or....if the can is not longer there for one reason or another...you'll be SOL... |

Naw, let's just start some rumors.... because it's true if it's on the net! I would love to hear what happened. Well I may know the whole story or I may know nothing. But I will say this. I do not live in nor have I ever lived in AZ. I have no friends or family in AZ. I am not in nor have I ever been in business with Mr. Holeman. So either I'm a federal agent dealing with this case or I have a personal interest in the case against Mr. Holeman. This can be said. If the shop re-opens he will not be running it. |

from another board:
Per the latest conversation with ATF/local agent this morning.. Now that the "inspection" is over, NFA should start approving form4's again.. (indica of hardmack this morning) If what they are telling me IS TRUE, C3 Arms should re-open approximately November 1st.. It'll be under new control and I wont have anything to do with the company as far as firearms. I will answer questions etc until that happens but once new control takes over, I'm out completely and will be unable to answer any questions regarding firearms... I most likely wont even respond and if I do, it'll be to direct you to the correct people. I would like to note, that at this time, any pending items are still in the shop (including law-a-ways), all inbound transfers will be collected but nothing can go OUT until the new control has been taken. Updates will be posted as more information is gathered. The new person is a fellow member here, when it's time, I'm sure he will announce himself. I, personally, am out of the gun business technically as of 9/25 but paperwise 9/28 until otherwise deemed with due process! _________________ C3 Arms 15610 N 35th Ave #3 Phoenix AZ 85053 http://www.c3arms.com [email protected] |

What is the point of this thread, then? I'm glad that he started this thread or else I wouldn't have heard a thing about all this. Obviously he has something to do with this case because what TCB posted sounds almost identical to what he claimed would happen. My only concern is I currently have a can pending sitting in C3's safe right now, should I call the local ATF branch, or just wait it out? The can just went pending a few months ago so it will be a while before I get my stamp back. |

Per the thread on the other board, he posted the agents name and contact info for those who have items pending approval. I would contact her so she at least knows you are aware of the situation and are in line to get your item approved. |

| If everything goes good the shop will reopen minus the current owner and the new owner will not have an SOT. Any and all pending NFA transfers will be handled by the Phoenix field office. This whole issue revolves around someone trying to be slick with NFA items. The current owner, regardless if he'll admit it, has some serious legal problems currently. |
|
Well, it appears he made the mistake of trying to transfer a form 4 interstate without paying the double tax. Be a shame if that's the only issue.
"Being slick with NFA items" is a pretty nebulous. If you're suggesting he was transferring a machine gun, ok, that's probably not a good thing. If it was a suppressor, big deal. I'd be more worried about patch trap adapters than missing $200. Seems to me letting AKM's walk to Mexico is still a more grievous offense (people actually died). When are those guys getting prosecuted (or even losing their government employ)? |
|
Shouldn't 450 million missing cigarettes be at the top of the list? I mean, that's world-changing stuff right there.
No, no, go after the moonshiners instead. What about thousands of exported guns in the hands of drug cartels? Oh kee-rist, some redneck used Tannerite to blow up a washer on youtube again, send SWAT. Wait. There's a dealer in AZ that made a mistake on some paperwork. HANG HIM. Call the president! Get everyone in the bunkers! |

Whether or not some want to admit it, the only thing most people in their right minds hope for is that the bureau folds and everyone winds up homeless and at soup kitchens. On a different note, the other board linked on page one gives info on who to call to handle your pending transfers. |

Yelpers & Tucansam nailed it.
TnMike, if you're a fed, then you should know jusr exactly why we have so much contempt for the Fed's. You expect us all to be held accountable for our actions and many of us do just that. But my challenge to you sir, is when will your thugs be held accountable, eh? Holder and all those that helped give the cartels weapons need to be locked up. This offense by C3 is a drop in the bucket, compared to what garbage your people have done. FBHO |

FBHO I think it's a little obvious that I'm not a federal agent. Any LEO involved in any case is not going to post about it online in a public forum. I agree 100% that Holder and his goons should go to prison. I don't agree with almost all of the gun laws on the books. But, it is what it is, and that is for another thread. I started this thread to find out what had happened then I received a few calls and made a few calls to find out everything I need to know. I spoke with one ATF employee about a concern I had, one that would normally send a dealer to jail, and they replied with "At this time we're not concerned with title 1 firearms" and "He has bigger things to worry about than that". I have a personal interest in this case. I didn't initiate this case but Clint has or tried to fuck a lot of people financially over the years and it seems karma has finally caught up to the SOB. |

There are enough of these cases in recent memory that licensees should be aware of what they are getting into by having a license and do everything 100% by the book. If its grey, assume its not ok and don't do it. It seems you know a little about what's really going on. It's not a grey area when you know it's illegal. |

I don't have any personal knowledge, just speaking generalities. Licensees can be casual in their practices even though there's plenty of examples of how terribly things can go wrong in just the past 5-6 years in AZ. |

Does anyone know Erin's number and email off hand? I can only seem to find generic numbers on the local ATF webpage and they, the ATF, made Clint delete her contact info off the other board. On the other forum in the Firearms General Discussion, the owner of the shop posted her contact info. |
